WORLD'S LARGEST SOUND BATH was at BIG BEAR CALIFORNIA SEPTEMBER 13TH 2022

What started as a regular drum circle has now evolved into the world's largest metal drum sound bath that Big Bear, California will ever see. Jill Gatsby with Big Bear Recording Studios, in collaboration with The Sage Hill School in Newport Beach, CA are set to create what may be a Guinness world record for the most metal tongue drums ever played at once by over 100 people on over one hundred metal tongue drums.

The Sage Hills School came to Big Bear to celebrate their graduating class of 2022 and they asked Big Bear Recording Studios if we could round up a hundred metal drums. We did not hesitate to hop into action. We ordered 100 custom made tongue drums with the Big Bear Recording Studio Logo etched into each drum and now they are all here. We have local artists hand paint them and we split the profits with them. The custom drums are $229 a piece and each one is hand-signed by the artist.
